‘Everwood’ Star, Treat Williams, Dies in Motorcycle Accident at 71

Actor Treat Williams, aged 71, known for his role as Dr. Andy Brown on the series ‘Everwood’, and also for his performance in the 70’s musical ‘Hair’, died this Monday, June 12th, as a result of a motorcycle accident near Dorset, Vermont, USA.

Williams’ death was confirmed by his agent in a statement sent to the press. The text stated that the actor died after being cut off by a car while making a turn on his motorcycle. “I am simply devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was very talented,” he said.

“He was an actor’s actor. Filmmakers loved him. He was the heart of Hollywood since the late 1970s. He was really proud of his performance this year. He was so happy with the work I got for him. He had a balanced career,” the agent added.
